According to an article in the newspaper today, cocaine farmers in Peru have been asked to use their agricultural talents for other crops, mostly asparagus. Local asparagus farmers are concerned that this fact is causing asparagus prices to drop.

I just think it's funny that my favorite vegetable was part of a front-page news article. And that it had this headline: "Asparagus farmers blame slump on fallout from drug war in Peru."
